The PFMD format enables the packaging of ophthalmic products without the need for chemical preservatives, ensuring protection against microbial contamination through a secure, hermetic delivery system. The launch of PFMD ophthalmic products represents a significant milestone for Unither Pharmaceuticals. The manufacturing process is supported by GMP-compliant technology at the Coutances facility. The site specializes in flexible batch sizes, ranging from 3 liters to 2,000 liters, ensuring scalability to meet the needs of both clinical trials and large-scale commercial production.
